Dubai, UAE – February 3, 2017 — Strategic Alliance Holdings Global, LLC (“SAH Global”) was a featured exhibitor at the 2017 Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, from 30 January to 2 February, the largest gathering of healthcare and trade professionals in the MENA region. More than 8,000 delegates attended the Exhibition and Congress from around the globe to learn the latest advances and innovations in healthcare, including those that are essential for oncology care. Exhibits included 4,400 of the world’s leading healthcare companies from 70 countries and more than 38 dedicated country pavilions. SAH Global exhibited its full line of turnkey solutions in oncology care including specialized equipment, software, Proton Therapy, molecular imaging, treatment (SAH Care) and training at Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, Booth D75.
An expert SAH Global team with more than 125 years of clinical experience in Proton Therapy participated in the exhibition to share the company’s latest developments in advanced cancer treatments. The company’s booth featured an architectural model of the Proton Therapy and PET Centers that SAH Global builds and manages, a live demo of VisionTree Software that improves communication between patients and providers, and a live demo of COOLSHIRT systems that provide cool vests for surgeons.
As part of it exhibition presence, SAH Global led the MENA region’s first ever Proton Therapy hand-on-training session presented by world renowned SAH Global oncologists Dr. Allan Thornton and Dr. Andrew Chang. Arab Health organizers decided to present hands-on training sessions across the conference after seeing the success of the SAH Proton Therapy workshops held during the 2016 session. The hands-on training session was presented as part of the SAH Global Proton Therapy Training and Education Series. Dr. Thornton and Dr. Chang, along with other SAH experts, presented four sessions across the four days of the exhibition to train physicians, physicists, dosimetrists and other oncology clinicians from around the world. Session topics included “Proton Therapy Clinical Indications”, “Proton Therapy Treatment Planning – Introduction and Advanced”, and “Optimizing Patient Outcome Tracking and Workflow Optimization”.
